There will be a change to waste collection service over the Christmas holiday period.

Your bins will be emptied on Tuesday 23 December instead of the usual Wednesday collection. So this coming week your bins will be collected a day earlier. On Tuesday 23 December it will be your grey general waste bin and food caddy that will be collected.

Collections on Wednesday 31st December are unaffected and your collection will take place as normal. On this day, please leave your dry recycling bin/containers out for collection along with your food caddy.

These changes only apply to residents in Elton and Winster. If you do not live in Elton or Winster and want to see if your waste collection day will be changed, please visit the Derbyshire Dales District Council webpage, ‘When is my Collection’, using the below link. Type in your postcode and select your address to find out when your collection will take place and what bins/containers you need to put out for collection.
