A brief update on local services and matters impacted by the Coronavirus outbreak as of 29 March 2020.
- Both the Village Hall and Elton All Saints Church are now completely closed to the public whilst government guidelines restrict social gatherings.
- Elton Jubilee Field remains open to allow people to exercise locally. Please use commonsense, adhere to social distancing guidelines and be respectful of others. The children’s play area, however, is closed and not to be used at this time.
- Derbyshire Dales District Council has put in place a support system to help any resident who is struggling to make regular payments to the authority – such as council tax. If you need assistance, please contact the Revenues Section at Town hall preferably by email revenues@derbyshiredales.gov.uk or call 01629 761188.
- A temporary bus timetable has been put for the 172 that serves Elton and travels to and from Matlock and Bakewell
