For another year, Derbyshire Dales District Council are providing free parking from 2pm throughout December. This is to help local people support our market towns and traders in the run-up to Christmas.

Along with the Residents’ Parking Permit, it gives Derbyshire Dales households 21 hours free parking throughout December.

Please note that this only applies to off-street car parks that are operated by Derbyshire Dales District Council. These can be identified by the Derbyshire Dales District Council logo on the pay and display boards.

On-street car parking is operated by Derbyshire County Council and charges will apply as normal.
