As you might be aware, Elton’s postman of 25 years, Peter Wheeldon, planned to retire this coming May.
Sadly, due to ill health, Peter is currently unable to work and it looks unlikely that he will return to work before his retirement.
A collection for Peter is being held by Carolyn at Winster Post Office where you are invited to make a donation if you wish.
Alternatively, Elton residents are welcome to put their donation in an envelope through the school’s letterbox where it will be collected by Julie Stone.
Please mark your envelope ‘Donation for Peter’.
