Judging in the Best Elton Christmas House Decoration took place at 4pm on Sunday 13 December. Our judge was Helen Forggatt, Civic Chairman of the Derbyshire Dales.
Helen braved the wet and windy weather to walk around the village looking at all the lights. It was a tough decision but the winners were…
1st – Alan Cooper
2nd – Andrew Cooper
3rd – Barry Swindell
Each received a cash prize.

Helen said how wonderful it was to see the village looking so bright and the incredible effort everybody has made. There were so many original ideas and some real hidden gems tucked away down each street.
After such a dismal year, it was lovely to see our community doing what it could to lift people’s spirits and have a bit of fun.
A big thank you again to Helen for joining us and to everybody who took part.
