Derbyshire Dales waste collections continue to be impacted by Covid-19. A number of crew members have contracted the virus and others are having to isolate as a result.
This means that your waste collections over the next week or so are likely to be affected.
If your bins are not emptied on your scheduled collection date, please leave them out at the kerbside. Where possible crews will return at a later date to catch-up with collections in areas that have been missed.
Unfortunately, there isn’t the staff or resources to return for all missed collections. Residents can either take their waste to the Household Recycling Centre at Darley Dale or leave double the amount of waste for collection the following fortnight
Please also note that until staffing levels return to something like normal, all garden waste collections are suspended to allow crews to focus on recycling and household waste collections.
