Parking will be free after 2pm throughout the month of September in Derbyshire Dales District Council’s car parks in Ashbourne, Bakewell, Matlock, Matlock Bath and Wirksworth – to help stimulate town centres in the recovery from the Covid pandemic.
The Derbyshire Dales Residents’ Parking Permit continues to enable residents to park for free before 11am and after 4pm.
Please note that the District Council only operates OFF-ROAD car parks. These can be identified by the Derbyshire Dales logo on the pay and display machines. Charges will apply on any private car parks or on-street bays in the town centres.
